The "Boltenhof" office building, constructed in 1955, is located at the junction of "Mattentwiete" and "Bei dem Neuen Krahn" within a block of several heritage listed office buildings. The interior of the Boltenhof was gutted down to its structural shell and an additional recessed roof level was added. The staircase with its typical lighting and the façade were restored with due consideration of preservation aspects. The recessed floor is designed with a metal façade, with its structure making reference to the natural stone façade of the existing building.
