Amsinckstraße and Nordkanalstraße are two main traffic arteries marking the site of the new ADAC Hansa e.V. Headquarters. The new building and the adjoining Ramada Hotel (which was implemented in the second construction phase) create an urban ensemble. The five- to six-storey head building with its white undulating glass façade takes reference from the speed of the main road. Flexible and attractive office spaces are provided along Sonninkanal. The ground floor of the onestorey plinth section accommodates the ADAC office with a service and travel centre as well as a garage area, including a checkpoint for cars comprising three test stands. Energy technology such as geothermics, concrete core temperature control and solar technology ensure the positive energy balance of the new building.
